EVENT LINGO

Space Only: Refers to your contracted area comprising of only bare floor space. You will need to provide your own stand including all walls, flooring, lights and electrics etc. The dimensions & position of your stand will be marked out with tape to show the boundary of your stand. All space only stands must submit a stand drawing for approval to RX Australia (through Task 7) detailing the dimensions and material to be used by our Operations Manager.

Shell Scheme or Stand Package:
 Your stand is ready-built and provided to you. Shell Scheme and Shand Packages include floor space, construction, rear and side walls (where applicable) name sign and basic lighting. Additional elements (power, extra lighting, graphics, etc) can be ordered through Task 8.

Manual Home:
 Readable part of the manual with relevant show information.

Exhibitor Hub:
 Portal that is accessed with exhibitor logins in order to complete show TASKS (forms). Please contact [email protected] if you have any issues accessing this.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Do I receive any online or printed marketing exposure as part of my contract?

A: This is automatically charged with your stand. This entry-level marketing package includes a 250-word company listing in the online exhibitor directory, up to 50 product listings, 5 document uploads, email enquiry service plus your half-page image placed in our Digital Look Book (bookings made before 19th May 2025) and a full page listing in our Handbook (bookings made before 12th June 2025). Upgrades are available for more information on this please contact your Account Manager.

What do I complete in Task 1 and Task 2? Why is it important?

A: Task 1 is specific to your Website Directory profile. This task includes information (company name, description, contact details, etc) that we then also use for the Look Book and Handbook publications (Tasks 2a and 2b) alongside your images. Please take your time to complete these areas carefully as RX Australia will not take any responsibility for any incorrect information that is published either digitally or in print.

What are the compulsory Tasks to complete in the Exhibitor Hub?

When is Move-In and Move-Out for exhibitors?

A: Please see the Key Dates and Times here in the Exhibitor Manual.

How do I find out what is included in my stand/contract?

A: Please contact your Account Manager. Alternatively, you can have a look at our standard Stand Guidelines & Inclusions here.

Do I get lighting and power with my stand?

A: Power and lighting are NOT included in your package. You can order Power from ExpoConnect order link found in Task 8 in the Exhibitor Hub. There are various optional extras you can order through this link, such as a side wall.

How do I get internet on site?

A: Free wireless internet is available throughout the venue; however, the service can be temperamental. For those requiring regular access, we suggest purchasing your own pre-paid internet dongle.

Where do I send my boxes/freight to? 

A: All the details and the Delivery Label are available in the Operations section of the Exhibitor Manual. Goods should ONLY be delivered within the dates and times outlined in the Operations section of the Exhibitor Manual.

When will I receive my name badge for the show?

A: You will need to register your details via Task 3 in the Exhibitor Hub. You will then collect your exhibitor badge onsite from the Customer Service Desk located at the entrance of the Royal Exhibition Building during move-in days.

Are children able to attend the show?

A: Life Instyle is a business event, so we suggest where possible to avoid bringing your children with you. However, if this is not possible, please visit the Customer Service Desk located at the entrance of the Royal Exhibition Building on arrival for a pram/children's pass. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. 
Please note that children are NOT allowed in the venue during build-up or pack-down.

What is Lead Manager?

A: Lead Manager App is RX Australia's own lead scan app.

Lead Manager will help you track leads at the event all through the event app downloaded to your personal device. The app requires a single login and then simply tap to scan. The app works offline and you simply sync your data when connected to Wi-Fi. You are able to access all your leads in real time and add notes to each contact. All visitor leads scanned by you will also receive your details after the event.

Will there be security during the event?

A: As always Life Instyle will provide onsite security throughout the entirety of the event, but are not responsible for the security of your items and therefore we advise all exhibitors to take individual responsibility for your stand security and personal items.

Do I need Testing & Tagging?

A: All electrical items are required by law to be tested and tagged. An onsite service will be provided during move-in by Oz Tag on Wednesday 2nd August to offer a full testing & tagging service to exhibitors. A total of 10 items is included if you have ordered a powerpoint for your stand. Any additional items will incur an onsite fee.

Is stand cleaning provided?

A: Stand cleaning is provided in the aisles pre-show and throughout the event in the aisles only. If you would like stands cleaned throughout the event, please reach out to us via email: [email protected]

WHERE IS

Accommodation

Our travel partner OzAccom can provide you with booking options for your flights and accommodation if required. You can access their site HERE!

ATM

ATMs are located on the ground floor of the building, in the eastern nave of the building between doors 3 and 4 or alternatively in the foyer of the Melbourne Museum next door.

Baby Change Facilities

There are baby change facilities located in each of the toilet blocks located in the South East and South West corners of the REB.

Cloakroom

A cloakroom is available to exhibitors on the Gallery Level of the Royal Exhibition Building directly above the main entrance. The cloakroom will be available for show days only and close promptly half an hour after the official closing each day. Cloaking of exhibitor bags and suitcases will not be available on Sunday.

Freight and Transport Service

GEL Events specialises in exhibition freight forwarding. GEL Events can ensure that your product, display & merchandise are in the right place, at the right time, providing a complete transport, materials handling & storage service.

First Aid

Located at Customer Service in the entrance foyer.

Heating

The REB has purpose-built heathers within the building and we will also be installing additional units to accommodate for the chilly Melbourne winter, however, the REB is an old building so please dress for the weather accordingly.

Notice Board

Noticeboards will be located inside the halls during the event. Visit the Life Instyle Customer Service Desk located at the entrance of the Royal Exhibition Building for locations on the day.

Parking

Please see the Parking information in the Getting There section.

Printer

There is a black and white printer available for exhibitor use on all show days. This is located in the exhibitor lounge. Please note there is a laptop there for exhibitors to bring their printing on a USB and print. The printer is not WIFI compatible. 

Storage

Self-storage is located in various locations within the REB. A map of storage locations will be available from the customer service desk on the day.
