The New Breed Scholarship is an award program designed to give up-and-coming designers a kick-start as they get into wholesale, with one lucky young brand receiving an envious prize package valued at over $10,000 including a stand at Life Instyle Sydney in 2026.
You might be asking 'What are the judges looking for'? Our expert judging panel will be looking at 5 key areas including; Creativity, Innovation, Market Readiness, Quality of Products and Presentation of the Submission.

Eligible applicants for the New Breed Scholarship
must meet the following criteria;
- Australian and New Zealand businesses only
- Business must be within its first 3 years of trading
- Never exhibited at Life Instyle before
- Must be the product designer – cannot be an importer/distributor
- Products must fit into one of the Life Instyle product categories
