Why do you come to Life Instyle?

Life Instyle is the only event that showcases beautiful boutique products from Australian brands. It is the must attend event for any retailer that wants to provide unique products for their own customer - Maggie Pana, Kreo Inc

How do you plan for Life Instyle?

Connection with a brand is how I source new suppliers so I research brands via the look book and exhibitor directory before attending the show - Clare, Tiny Polkadot

What are you searching for when attending Life Instyle. Are you looking to catch up with existing suppliers or are you looking for something new?

For Bloom & Co we spend about 20% of our time connecting and ordering from exisiting suppliers and 80% sourcing new products and brands. - Terri, Bloom & Co

Do you have a budget when attending Life Instyle?

I am always getting in trouble with my accountant when I return from Life Instyle - Terri, Bloom & Co.
It's definitley excitment vs budget management and quite often the excitement wins - Clare, Tiny Polkadots

Your top tip?

Retailers find it difficult to pay large sums of money up front. Work with your new stockist to split up orders over time and stagger dispatch of larger orders. Flexibility is key.

How do you go about your buying? Do you purchase at the show or post-show?

For Norsu it is both. We will reorder with current stockists and if there is a new brand we have to have we will order at the event however most of the time we will order post show when we have had a chance to plan more - Kristy, Norsu.
I have just ordered from a stockist who's brochure I collected at Life Instyle MELBOURNE 2017, that's almost a year later, so make sure you are always following up, because unfortuntaley sometime we forget. - Terri, Bloom & Co.
